| Rosalyn Newport-Olsen, LCSW, ACSW, DCSW, spent fifteen years as a psychotherapist in a large community mental health agency, where she was supervisor of the Gerontology program and did a variety of out-patient counseling. While doing this work and carefully listening to the consumers, she discovered an urgent need for a more interactive way of communicating their emotional and behavioral situation. So she invented, developed and patented the Mood Tree, and is developing the sales and marketing in the United States. She now spends part of her time in her own private practice, Senior Counseling, but most of her time and efforts go into managing, developing, and teaching for her business, Newport Concepts. She is available for speaking engagements, workshops and training in the theory and use of the Mood Tree.
